Investments and change of leadership at SwissPrimePack AG

SwissPrimePack AG invests millions in the Swiss location

Altstätten, 12 December 2016

"The name SwissPrimePack should be program" says the chairman of the Board of Directors of SwissPrimePack AG, Eric Stupp. The company wants to become number one in terms of quality and innovation and invests several millions in new production facilities and automation. Innovative and sustainable packaging solutions are developed in projects with universities of applied sciences. The increase of competitiveness is driven by an external consulting firm.

With its decisions, the board of Directors is committed to Switzerland as a location. He is convinced that the competitiveness of the two companies in Altstätten and in Niederuzwil can be increased by means of targeted measures. The shareholders will take additional money into the company in order to be able to accelerate the realignment of the company. On March 1, 2017, SwissPrimePack AG will have a change of leadership. Jana Walker becomes new CEO. It follows Jan Dobry, who leaves the company at his own request. Ms. Jana Walker has been a member of the board of Directors of SwissPrimePack AG since July 2016 and changes from the company Jansen AG, where she worked for seven years in the Division management. She has completed master studies in Business administration at the University of St. Gallen and in plastics engineering at the FHNW.

SwissPrimePack AG is convinced that these changes will provide a good basis for a successful innovative growth strategy.
