Stackable bottles or when bottles stack up.

High stacking products are ‘show-offs’. And when bottles are stacked up it can get very awkward. Not the case with the new product innovation from the firm of SwissPrimePack Ltd.: the stackable bottle can do what it promises. And that’s something!
Ingenious ideas are often created by a change in the way things are normally viewed. For example: take a bottle and hold it in front of you. You naturally hold the bottle by the neck, in other words with the opening facing upwards. But: does the opening on a bottle have to be at the end of the neck? Rotate the bottle through 180° - it doesn’t matter whether you do that clockwise or anticlockwise. The base of the bottle is now facing upwards. Now imagine the bottle has no base! Does this mean that the bottle can also be filled through the base? Of course it can! And because there’s no base it is stackable - it can in fact be stacked in a compact way if it has a conical shape. And voila, there you have it: the stackable bottle from SwissPrimePack Ltd.. Manufactured through the injection moulding process and made from high quality polypropylene, with a filling capacity up to half a litre, the base sealed with a special aluminium tab, suitable for all non-fermenting contents such as coffee cream, yoghurt drinks, salad sauces etc. and fitted with your choice of seal on the neck - from twist seal to snap-on lid, with tamperproof guarantee if necessary.
A revolution in logistics
Compared with the heavy breakable glass bottle, the significantly lighter, unbreakable glass bottle represents enormous progress on the logistical side. But there’s one more additional disadvantage: like glass bottles, in the past plastic bottles have also been bulky to transport. But only in the past, because the stackable plastic bottles from SwissPrimePack Ltd. take up between five and ten times (!) less space. This means: five to ten times more bottles can be transported in one consignment. Fewer pallets mean lower labour costs for loading and unloading. Fewer pallets also however mean fewer journeys. So the stackable bottle not only brings cost savings but also represents a significant advance from the environmental aspects.
No special filling plant
The stackable bottle from SwissPrimePack Ltd. is suitable for use in normal filling plants. The associated advantages are obvious: there is no need for cost intensive investment in a special bottling plant and where there’s already an existing bottling plant in operation there is no additional demand on its capacity so it will not result in any costly ‘bottlenecks’. Advantages on the processing side The stackable bottle from SwissPrimePack Ltd. is also superior to the conventional bottle in terms of finishing. For straight, conical shapes in particular, the bottle can be easily printed or labelled at the same costs as for a yoghurt tub. The sleeve technology is used for more complex shapes, preserving virtually total flexibility in terms of bottle design. The low cost alternative Advantages in terms of logistics, advantages in the filling process, advantages in the finishing: this makes the stackable bottle from SwissPrimePack Ltd. a genuine alternative to conventional bottles - including in particular from the cost aspect.
